The bedrooms are all located upstairs and all have wood flooring and a spa-like bathroom. One of them has been converted into a relaxation room topped off with blue lighting to soothe the mind after a busy day earning the kind of wage necessary to buy such a property.

Property prices in Dubai have been sliding for a few years now and fell on average 4 per cent during the second quarter of this year, and 11 per cent year on year according to data from Asteco, as new projects have launched in many areas of the city against a backdrop of subdued economic growth.

In Dubai Marina, prices were down 2 per cent in the second quarter and 10 per cent year on year. Meanwhile, property prices across Dubai are down 23 per cent since their peak in Q2 2014, but up 41 per cent since their market low in Q3 2011, Asteco reported.
