Man accused of raping teenage boy in car, court is told
A man raped a teenage boy in his car while two of his friends watched on, Dubai Criminal Court heard.
The 13-year-old got in the car of the defendant - who he is friends with on Facebook - after finishing Friday prayers at a mosque in Al Muraqqabat.
The Pakistani man, 27, took his young compatriot and two other passengers who were in the car for pizza, before heading to the Al Aweer area.
The court heard that the boy was then beaten and stripped naked by the man after he refused to have sex with him.
“He did it in front of the two other men,” said the boy.
He said that one of the other two men in the car also sexually assaulted him.
He said he was then dropped home by the man, who told him not to tell anyone about what happened.
The alleged victim said he told his mother, who took him to the police station to report the incident.
Police arrested the three men, with two of them facing charges.
The 27-year-old defendant was charged with rape, while the second defendant, 32, was charged with sexual assault.
Both men denied the charges.
The next hearing will be on October 2.
